Our Adoption World
Our lives were first touched by adoption when we decided, after having two biological sons, that our family would not be complete without a little girl. We started the daunting process of choosing an agency, completing paperwork and struggling to find answers for all the lingering questions we had. We were eventually blessed with our precious daughter, Emylee, who is from Jiande, Zhejiang Province, PRC. She is so amazing and we cherish each day watching her grow. She is our sunshine.
After experiencing the miracle of adoption our family couldn't resist bringing another daughter home. Emylee was and is such a blessing and we were excited at the thought of sharing our home with another child. Mandalyn from the CASI Foundation introduced us to our darling Madyson, who the agency had named "Sophie." She was perfect and we knew the moment we laid eyes on her God had chosen her for our family. Before we knew it, but not as quickly as we had hoped, we were on our way to China to bring home little Madyson from Datong, Shanxi Province, PRC.
I have now been blessed with the opportunity to work with a wonderful adoption ministry, Shiloh Adoptions, in order to help orphans across the world find their forever families. As acting president of Shiloh Adoptions, it is my desire that through prayer and ministry families will open their hearts to those greatest in need, the orphans who long for a family to call their own.
